Introduction
Tableware defects are usually caught early or not at all — a chip found after firing is scrap. Our QC is built into the line rather than bolted on at the end, with eight checkpoints between wet body and final inspection.
The factory holds ISO certification and is audited for social compliance, so the paperwork trail retail buyers need is already in place.
How It Works
Handle position checking. Handles are checked for position and strength while the body is still workable.
Wet body checking. Wall thickness, footring and form are checked before drying.
Washing body checking. Bodies are inspected after washing for cracks and surface defects.
Glazing body checking. Glaze coverage and thickness are checked before the glaze firing.
Hand painted checking. Decorating accuracy is verified piece by piece.
Checking before firing. A final pre-kiln pass removes anything that would waste kiln capacity.
Casual checking. Random pulls through the run catch drift in the process.
Final inspection. Finished ware is inspected before packing, with cartons verified against the order.
